Book cover design & illustrations

It was a pleasure to design a book cover and illustrations for Natalie Miller-Snell. A client who I have worked with for several years. Designing the cover and internal illustrations allowed me to translate Natalie’s ideas into visual forms. The process blended creativity and purpose, capturing Natalie’s empowering messaging and encouraging thoughts. We collaborated closely on the design vision, colours and type execution to really give impact to the wording.

 

 

 

 

 

I created a bespoke hand drawn typeface as a supporting element to the design. This was used creatively throughout the book to highlight key words.

 

 

Kate, you’ve done it again, interpreting the jumbled design mess in my head to create a beautiful cover and delightful illustrations–everything I hoped they would be. Thank you.
